Job summary

The Simplot Company, a diverse, privately held global food and agriculture company, is seeking a Procurement Category Manager to drive global MRO strategy across manufacturing facilities. You will partner with stakeholders, lead sourcing projects, and manage supplier relationships to achieve savings and service goals.

Qualifications include a B.A./B.S. and 3+ years in MRO category management, with strong communication and analytical skills. This is an onsite role at Simplot HQ in Boise, ID.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from 4-year college or university.
• 3+ years of experience in MRO category management.
• Knowledge of procurement, sourcing, and category management.

Responsibilities

• Develop category plan for global MRO category with mid to high-level complexity.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to prioritize and deliver on portfolio projects.
• Lead sourcing projects including RFI, RFP, RFQ.
• Lead negotiations and contract development.
• Manage strategic vendor relationships and performance to ensure delivery of service, quality, cost and supply commitments.
