Job summary

KPMG LLP in Puerto Rico seeks a Tax Seasonal Intern for its Global Mobility Services practice. You will support tax professionals on compliance and advisory matters involving multinational employees working across borders and domestically.

The role requires enrollment in a college or university, with preference for coursework in Tax, Accounting, or Business, and fluency in English and Spanish. You’ll gain exposure to AI, Alteryx, and Power BI while developing client service and project delivery

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the degrees/majors: Bachelor and/or Masters.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish with ability to use both languages in a business environment.
• Coursework in Tax, Accounting, International Business, Economics, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
• Knowledge of expatriate services and global mobility.
• Strong in technical, business acumen, critical thinking and agility.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Global Mobility Services tax professionals on compliance and advisory work for multinational employees.
• Collaborate with tax and HR professionals to manage tax implications of a global workforce.
• Prepare client correspondence and calculations on international assignments and tax issues.
• Analyze expatriate payroll, compensation, benefits, and mobility-related matters.
• Prepare reports and track global mobility tax compliance status and projects.
• Build capabilities in technologies such as AI, Alteryx, and Power BI for client service delivery.
