Job summary

Middlebury College is seeking an Undergraduate Research Assistant to conduct cross-national research on migration policy and build a global dataset of countries offering visas for digital nomads, entrepreneurs, and retirees.

You will code data, merge it with existing migration statistics, and perform basic quantitative and qualitative analyses to support ongoing research projects. Junior status or above applies, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Political science or IPE major required.
• Experience with both quantitative and qualitative research.
• Previous RA experience.
• Interest and/or background in studying international migration.

Responsibilities

• Research different countries' migration policies.
• Code and enter data into a cross-national dataset.
• Merge collected data with pre-existing migration statistics.
• Conduct basic quantitative and qualitative analysis.
