Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive is hiring a Global Microbiology GMP/Hygiene Manager to lead and continuously improve the GMP and microbiology control programs. The role partners with Global Quality, Supply Chain Engineering, and Operations to implement these programs across regions.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Microbiology with 8+ years of industrial experience and willingness to travel up to 25%. Hybrid work arrangement in Piscataway, NJ, and relocation assistance within the country are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related major.
• 8+ years of industrial experience in Personal Care, Home Care, Oral Care, Pharmaceutical, or Food.
• Experience in both laboratory and manufacturing environments with microbial control programs.
• Willingness to travel up to 10–25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Leads development and continuous improvement of Global GMP Programs (Cleaning, Sanitization, Water, Environmental monitoring, Microbiology).
• Manages metrics program including MPI, MSI, MRSC, and reports for finished products, raw materials, and water.
• Partners with Regional Microbiologists, Global Quality and other functions to implement these programs.
• Leads Global Microbiology training programs (Cleaning, Sanitization, water systems, Micro Awareness).
• Interfacing with regulatory teams and external networks to shape and improve global programs.
