Lifung in Chicago seeks a Merchandiser to support customers and overseas sourcing through the product development cycle from concept to shipment. The role emphasizes accurate, timely execution and strong cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in merchandising or business or related field.
• 3-5 years merchandising, product development or sourcing experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
• Strong multi-tasking, deadline management, and proactive problem solving.
• Proficient in Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint; CAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between the customer and overseas sourcing teams.
• Research and analyze market trends to drive sales and propose items.
• Obtain quoting information, costs and samples from overseas teams.
• Coordinate product details with sourcing teams to meet pricing strategies.
• Own pre-costing calculations to ensure profitability.
