Job summary

Google LLC in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Senior Global Commodity Manager for HBM and Advanced Memory. You will partner with Engineering to secure memory components, develop strategic sourcing, and optimize total cost of ownership for Google's global infrastructure.

You will lead supplier selections for new platforms, manage performance on cost, quality, delivery and technology alignment, and drive supply chain improvements across memory suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of experience in commodity management or supply chain management in the data center/industry.
• Experience in memory commodity management such as HBM, Memory DDR5, or Server DIMM.
• Experience in agreement and supplier development.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity strategies and execute on them.
• Lead cross-functional teams through the supplier selection process for new platforms/components.
• Conduct business discussions and secure comprehensive agreements with suppliers.
• Maintain industry expertise and supplier/market conditions, and manage supplier performance in cost, quality, delivery, and technology alignment.
• Propose and implement supply chain improvements.
