Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP is seeking a Global Category Manager for Memory/SSSD with a global scope to drive procurement strategies across geographies. The role requires collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and business units to optimize inventories, ensure supply, and mitigate risk.

The position emphasizes leadership in cross-functional teams, strategic process improvements, and mentoring of staff while operating in a hybrid work model with some office presence.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• Typically 6–10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Global procurement experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides expertise for priority or new assignments with strategic implications across organization, such as leading or participating in cross- functional teams.
• Focuses on development activities and introducing new processes, program solutions and methods.
• Leads the development of program and/or process solutions to meet business objectives and deliver continuous improvements.
• Monitors and analyzes owned programs, process solutions, key metrics and process-oriented tasks and situations; focuses on improving current areas with significant independent judgment.
• Works across cross-functional teams to develop solutions as well as maintain and enhance current business processes, focusing on particular segments.
• Provides independent, strategic development and analytic and strategic support to drive organizational goals.
• Provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level contributors.
• Develops and executes strategic plans and initiatives across the company's businesses and/or geographies.
