Job summary

World Financial Group (WFG) is seeking a Senior Director, Meetings & Events to design and deliver high-impact events that engage agents and financial professionals across the United States and Canada.

This strategic leader will oversee national and international meetings, manage budgets and ROI, collaborate with Marketing, CX, Training, and Product teams, and build a high-performing events team to reinforce WFG’s growth and brand promise.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive leadership in financial services or related fields.
• 8+ years of people management experience.
• Knowledge of insurance, brokerage, and wealth management.
• Proven success leading large-scale events and engagement programs.
• Budget planning, contract administration, and vendor management expertise.
• Experience using KPIs and analytics to drive decisions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and field leadership.
• Strategic thinking and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive meetings and events strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead planning and execution of large-scale national and international meetings and incentive programs.
• Manage ROI, expenses, budgets, contracts, and vendor partnerships.
• Develop integrated communications strategies to support field engagement.
• Lead and develop the meetings and events team.
• Collaborate across departments to strengthen WFG’s market position and manage rewards programs.
• Provide strategic insights on field sentiment and engagement opportunities.
