Job summary

Spacelabs Healthcare, a unit of OSI Systems, Inc., seeks a Sr. Software Manager to lead global software engineering efforts for a new patient monitoring system and enhancements across medical devices. The role requires strong technical leadership, agile practices, and regulatory insight.

Hybrid position with on-site collaboration at the Snoqualmie, WA facility three or more days per week. You will drive design, development, testing, and integration across international teams, ensuring quality

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science; master’s degree preferred.
9+ years of full life cycle software development experience.
5+ years of medical device software development experience.
5+ years leading software engineering groups of 7–10 engineers.

Responsibilities

Direct and oversee activities of a distributed, global software engineering team.
Design, implementation, and testing of software applications for medical device product families.
Architect, design and release scalable cross platform next generation software.
Define and maintain group charter and core competencies; keep staff trained for success.
Establish coding guidelines, testing frameworks and best practices.
Support regulatory compliance documentation and risk management activities.
Lead design reviews and manage FMEA and technical risk.
Coordinate software integration across global teams to hardware platforms.
