Job summary

Scholar Rock is seeking an Associate Director/Director, Medical Affairs Operations in Cambridge, MA. You will provide project management operations support across Medical Affairs, coordinating with Commercial, Clinical Development, and Market Access to align growth and strategy.

You will develop project plans, oversee budgets, and ensure milestones are met. The role emphasizes collaboration, process improvement, and timely communications across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of operational experience in pharma/biotech.
• 8+ years of company-sponsored study management experience in Clinical Operations or Medical Affairs.
• PM certification (PMP or similar) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Medical Affairs concepts and operational practices.
• Experience with medical affairs vendors and cross-functional interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic project management support across Medical Affairs and cross-functional teams.
• Oversee end-to-end operational management of a Phase 4 study including CRO oversight.
• Budget planning and collaboration with Medical Directors for planning processes.
• Support congress planning and prepare reports and training materials.
• Maintain Medical Affairs SharePoint databases with budgets and resources.
• Create project timelines and monitor progress to meet milestones within budget.
• Support advisory boards, publications, and congress meetings; develop monthly dashboards.
• Maintain calendars for meetings and congresses; support SOPs and processes.
