Job summary

The NBA offers a 10-week Summer Internship from June 7 to August 13, 2027, to learn basketball business and contribute to projects across departments. Interns gain professional development, community experiences, and exposure to media, partnerships, and events in a global sports environment.

Selected interns support the global business development and partnerships teams, with emphasis on research, proposal preparation, and event support. Leadership and strong communication are valued throughout.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate program and entering Senior year in the academic year following the internship.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills demonstrated through coursework or activities.
• Leadership demonstrated via relevant extracurricular or community activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and management of media, merchandising, licensing, and marketing partnerships.
• Conduct market research on sales and new business opportunities and prepare meetings and proposals.
• Support on-site events, content capture, and partner development conversations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to customize programs for prospects and bring ideas to market.
