Job summary

The NBA offers a 10-week Summer Internship (June 7 – August 13, 2027) across departments including Global Basketball Operations, Global Events, and Social Responsibility & Player Programs. Interns work on projects that support events, operations, and basketball programs while engaging in professional development and community experiences.

Selected interns will help with events, league operations, and initiatives across affiliate leagues, gaining real-world exposure to the business of basketball

Qualifications

• Rising seniors or graduate students considered based on business need.
• Excellent academic standing with strong written and verbal communication.
• Leadership demonstrated through extracurricular or community activities.

Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional strategy and operations with technology and innovation teams.
• Monitor activities across leagues including game operations and rules implementation.
• Assist with team travel, hotel and transportation logistics and player experience.
• Support NBA Summer League programming and on-site activations.
• Contribute to Jr. NBA, Jr. WNBA and international programming and community initiatives.
