K2 Space Corporation in Los Angeles is seeking a Global Supply Manager, Mechanical Engineering, to oversee the mechanical supply chain for high-power satellite platforms. You will source critical components, manage BOMs, and drive supplier performance to meet aggressive project milestones.

The role emphasizes procurement of bearings, motors, encoders, and related hardware, plus planning processes and tool development to improve demand accuracy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace supply chain or engineering.
• 5+ years of technical experience with motors, bearings, encoders or mechanical assemblies.
• 3+ years in production management or production planning.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing for bearings, motors, encoders, consumables, and adhesives for mechanical assemblies.
• Negotiate contracts for complex components with specialized suppliers; provide design-for-manufacturability feedback.
• Manage BOMs for all owned mechanical and structural assemblies.
• Develop planning processes to improve mechanical assembly demand accuracy.
• Develop new software tools and processes to improve supply chain controls (quality clauses, logistics, inventory).
• Lead Clear to Builds with engineering to meet milestones.
