Job summary

K2 Space is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to support the mechanical supply chain for high-power satellite platforms. Your role will focus on technical procurement, BOM management, and supplier development across multiple satellite programs.

You will negotiate costs, monitor supplier health, and collaborate with engineering, production, and finance to meet critical deadlines while traveling up to 25-50% of the time. A STEM degree and aerospace procurement experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management or engineering in the aerospace industry.
• 5+ years of procuring machined components, sheet metal, composites, and solar cells.
• Experience managing suppliers in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of solar array and module hardware in space environments and operations.

Responsibilities

• Technical procurement of solar array and module hardware across satellite programs.
• Plan and manage Bill of Materials for solar assemblies.
• Lead supplier development from NPI through production; monitor progress and negotiate contracts.
