Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience sourcing mechanical components including injection moulding, stamping, harness assemblies and fasteners.
• Understanding manufacturing cost drivers for custom components and tooling.
• 1-3+ years of sourcing or procurement experience in a similar role.
• Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end RFx processes, from defining requirements and issuing RFQs through supplier evaluation and selection.
• Develop and maintain should-cost models for mechanical components (injection moulding, stamping, harnesses, fasteners).
• Negotiate piece prices, tooling costs, payment terms and supplier agreements.
• Manage commercial relationships with key suppliers, including performance tracking and escalations.
• Drive supplier readiness during new product introduction, production ramp and ongoing manufacturing.
• Support cost, capacity planning and lead-time management initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to deliver the mechanicals sourcing roadmap.
• Present sourcing recommendations to senior and executive stakeholders.
