Job summary

Legrand seeks an Engineering Supervisor to lead a diverse team of engineers, designers, and drafters across production sites. You will guide dispositioning of deviations, change requests, and VAVE initiatives while ensuring high-quality documentation and processes.

Responsibilities include prioritizing workload, mentoring staff, and coordinating with Production, Quality, and Purchasing to ensure manufacturability. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years in product development and production support.
• Two years of direct supervision or leading teams.
• Domestic and international travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product support engineering team for all production sites, domestic and international.
• Supervise the daily activities and manage deliverables.
• Assign priorities and workload for engineers, designers, and drafters.
• Conduct performance assessments and goal setting with the team.
• Maintain headcount with HR and budget.
• Create a productive, collaborative environment for the team.
• Coordinate fault analysis, testing, and design verification.
• Lead DFMEAs, design reviews, and project status meetings.
• Ensure documentation conforms to company standards.
• Partner with Production, Quality, and Purchasing for manufacturability.
