Job summary

EnergySolutions is seeking a Material Management Coordinator to lead cross‑functional teams across logistics and material evaluation, ensuring compliant handling of radioactive materials and wastes. The role acts as the hub between international logistics, regulatory teams, and project management to classify materials, meet license conditions, and efficiently manage disposition.

Applicants should have 7–10 years of related experience, strong knowledge of NRC/DOT/IMDG/ADR/DOE/DOD requirements,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, environmental sciences, engineering, chemistry, or related discipline.
  • Experience with international transport regulations and material classification.
  • Strong documentation and compliance orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily direction and oversight to teams across international logistics and material evaluation.
  • Oversee evaluation of client materials and ensure accurate classification and compliance.
  • Manage global transport activities, shipping compliance, and customs interactions.
  • Serve as central interface between project management, regulatory teams and vendors.
  • Update SOPs, checklists, and regulatory documentation; support audits.
  • Assist staff training and contribute to cost analysis and optimization.
