Job summary

Power Flame Incorporated is seeking a Materials Manager to oversee the planning and coordination of inventory and materials at a North American manufacturing site. You will lead a team, optimize inventory, and align with master scheduling to ensure on-time customer deliveries.

The role requires 5+ years in materials management, strong leadership, and experience with Oracle ERP. You will drive process improvements and collaborate across functions to support strategic growth and efficiency.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years in Materials Management, preferably in global manufacturing.
• ASCM/APICS CSCP/CPIM/CLTD/ISM certifications desired.
• Demonstrated leadership in a global matrix organization.
• Experience with Oracle ERP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the 5-year strategic roadmap for supply chain excellence.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Oversee material control, storage, transportation and delivery of all raw materials and finished goods.
• Lead and coach 5–10 direct reports including counters and planners.
• Coordinate forecasting with product lines to meet shipments and deadlines.
• Implement best-in-class materials management processes and drive efficiency.
• Track key metrics to gauge function success and continuous improvement.
