Job summary

Instron in Norwood, MA is seeking a Materials Segment Manager to lead growth of the global Materials business, guiding strategy, investments, and product portfolio across machines, accessories, software, and services.

You will work with commercial, product, engineering, and executives to turn market insights into actionable plans, drive customer value, and deliver long-term performance while traveling to customer sites and events.

Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years of experience in strategic marketing, product management, or related leadership roles.
• Experience with capital equipment or industrial tech is preferred.
• Experience engaging with customers and standards bodies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set long-term growth strategy for Materials Segment.
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute bookings, revenue and profitability.
• Drive annual and long-range planning and performance reviews.
• Develop market intelligence and customer insights to guide investments.
