Job summary

SCHOTT AG seeks a Central Master Data Steward to manage SAP Sales & Distribution master data, perform quality checks, and support customer portals and EDI processes. You will collaborate with global teams and ensure accurate data for Order-to-Cash operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on data stewardship, independent work in an operational setting, and a strong focus on accuracy, with travel 3–4 times per year as needed.

Qualifications

• Min. 3 years of practical experience in Order-to-Cash, SCM operations, or master data management.
• Solid hands-on experience with SAP Sales & Distribution.

Responsibilities

• Act as Central Master Data Steward for SAP Sales & Distribution master data and execute defined maintenance activities.
• Conduct regular data quality checks based on defined KPIs and resolve identified issues.
• Act as the Central Point of Contact for customer portals including evaluation and coordination of new portal requests, creation and maintenance of user access, and handling inquiries.
• Perform central upload of electronic invoices into customer portals, ensuring timely and compliant processing.
• Monitor EDI invoice connections, identify transmission errors, and ensure issue resolution.
• Support OCR-based order entry processes through validation of new customer purchase order layouts.
• Identify recurring operational issues and pain points and contribute to improvements.
• Work in an international team with local & global stakeholders.
