Job summary

Westlake Chemical seeks a Master Data Supervisor to lead the Master Data Center of Excellence. You will partner with Plant and Corporate leaders to optimize customer, vendor, supplier and material data, driving process improvements and data quality across the organization.

You will mentor staff, own master data creation, and coordinate data cleanup with IT. A strong background in ERP systems and data analytics is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in a related field (Business Administration, IS, CS, Data Science).
• Minimum 3 years of experience with ERP systems (SAP, JDE preferred).
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional decision-making and process improvement.
• Strong data analysis skills using Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Optimize Master Data processes to improve efficiency and data quality.
• Create and maintain training materials; mentor staff on data management.
• Own accuracy and speed of new master data creation and extension requests.
• Perform daily data quality checks and updates to fix errors.
• Guide key users on master data structures and inter-dependencies.
• Coordinate master data cleanup with IS for mass updates.
• Promote best practices in data governance and quality.
