Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Middle Office professional in New York to settle client trades with Prime Brokerage clients and external brokers. You will manage a client book, build relationships, and ensure accurate trade life-cycle support.

You will investigate trade exceptions, assess risk, and drive process improvements while maintaining strong cross-team collaboration to meet client deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong ability to present complex information in a structured, concise way to multiple deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and risk-management awareness.
• Proactive in identifying process improvements and efficiency gains.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Prime Brokerage clients and external brokers to settle client trades and resolve trade-related issues.
• Manage a book of clients, developing relationships and providing first-class service across the trade lifecycle.
• Investigate exceptions in internal books and records to identify resolution and escalate as needed.
• Analyze and improve processes to reduce risk and repetitive effort.
• Influence client behavior to achieve superior operational and service outcomes.
