Job summary

BBVA is seeking a Managing Director to lead the strategy and execution of ad-hoc product solutions for institutional clients in the New York region. You will establish and deepen client relationships, providing hedging and investment product ideas aligned with client needs.

You will collaborate with the Global Sales Manager to shape the commercial strategy, drive recurring income, and coordinate with risk, policies, and other groups to ensure compliant, effective product delivery.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in institutional markets or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Licensing (Series 24, 7, 63, 79) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy to provide ad-hoc product solutions to BBVA institutional clients.
• Establish client relationships and satisfy hedging/investment needs.
• Collaborate with Global Sales Manager to define commercial strategy.
• Generate recurring income to meet annual revenue targets.
• Oversee team coordination and supervision of ongoing commercial activity.
• Manage staffing issues for the unit with the Sales Manager.
• Report activity to Sales Manager regularly.
