Job summary

Bank of America in New York, NY is seeking a Trade Operations Associate to partner with Global Markets Americas FICC Sales, ensuring accurate trade capture, onboarding support, and client service excellence across risk, operations, and compliance functions.

The role acts as a liaison to resolve client inquiries, manage trade lifecycle events from execution to settlement, and support onboarding processes while driving process improvements and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years equivalent industry experience.
• Experience supporting Global Markets FICC businesses.
• Strong knowledge of Fixed Income products: Securities Trading & OTC Derivatives.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of market regulations, onboarding requirements (AML/KYC, FINRA, ISDA/CSA, CFTC).

Responsibilities

• Perform trade capture, amendments, allocations, and post-execution lifecycle event processing.
• Coordinate and distribute client trade recaps with timely client affirmation.
• Monitor trade flow from execution through settlement and resolve issues.
• Ensure trade bookings, allocations, and related activities meet regulatory obligations.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness throughout the trade and client lifecycle.
• Support onboarding activities and client relationship management.
