Job summary

TD Securities (USA) LLC in New York seeks an Associate – Global Markets Documentation to negotiate and draft prime brokerage and derivative agreements with global counterparties. You will coordinate with Credit, Legal, Compliance, and Front Office across time zones to support deal flow under tight deadlines.

The role requires a law degree and 1+ year of relevant experience, with NY Bar admission being a plus. You will help ensure TD's regulatory obligations are met across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Law degree required with 1+ years of solid legal, trading documentation, capital markets, origination or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with negotiations of Prime Brokerage Agreements, ISDA Master Agreements, CSAs, and related documents with counterparties.
• Participate in calls with senior credit officers, front office, clients and external counsel to discuss issues in negotiations.
• Coordinate with Credit, Business, Tax, Legal, Operations and Collateral Management during the documentation process.
• Provide timely updates on negotiation status via calls or internal tracking systems.
• Support initiatives related to documentation, process automation, and regulatory compliance.
