Job summary
TD Securities is seeking an Associate – Global Markets Documentation in New York to negotiate and draft legal agreements for trading products including derivatives, FX and commodities. You will support prime brokerage negotiations and coordinate with Front Office, Credit, Legal and Compliance to meet tight deadlines.
The role requires a law degree and 1+ year of legal/trading documentation experience, with NY bar admission preferred.
Qualifications
- Law degree is required and NY Bar admission preferred.
- 1+ years of legal, trading documentation or capital markets experience.
- Experience negotiating ISDA Master Agreements and related docs is a plus.
- Strong drafting, communication and risk-management skills.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate Prime Brokerage Agreements, ISDA Master Agreements and related CSAs with counterparties.
- Coordinate with Credit, Legal, Compliance, Operations and front office across time zones.
- Prepare and finalize regulatory capital markets documents and disclosures.
- Provide timely updates and support to front office during negotiations.
