The Hiller Companies, LLC has an immediate opening for Marine Installation Technician. The Marine Installation Technician will travel to marine vessels worldwide to install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire protection equipment.

This role requires readiness to travel on short notice and assumes a high level of responsibility since lives and assets depend on precision. Candidates must be able to obtain DOT certification for hydrostatic testing and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• DOT certification required for hydrostatic testing.
• Adherence to safety procedures and guidelines.
• Demonstrated customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Become DOT certified to perform hydrostatic testing on cylinders.
• Use proper Personal Protective Equipment and follow safety protocols.
• Assist Lead Technicians with installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of systems worldwide.
• Perform hydrostatic testing of fire hoses and inspections of extinguishers and water mist systems.
• Support testing and inspection of fire suppression and galley hood washdown systems.
