Job summary

Molex is seeking a Portfolio Manager within the Datacom & Specialty Solutions Division to serve as the critical link between Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, global manufacturing sites, and business units.

In this newly created role, you will oversee a portfolio of manufacturing, capacity expansion, and product commercialization initiatives, prioritizing multi-million-dollar investments and providing executive visibility into portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading portfolios, programs, projects, or strategic initiatives in manufacturing.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple functions and levels.
• Experience communicating complex business, operational, and project information to leadership audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio management activities supporting manufacturing, operations, capacity expansion, NPI, and growth initiatives.
• Evaluate and prioritize portfolios based on strategic value, objectives, ROI, resources, and readiness.
• Consolidate project and investment data into portfolio reviews for leadership.
• Track portfolio performance, value realization, profitability, and milestones.
• Collaborate with BU leaders, Product/Program Managers, Operations, Finance, and ME teams to align plans.
• Identify risks, constraints, and interdependencies and drive mitigation across stakeholders.
• Communicate portfolio health and recommendations to teams and senior leadership.
• Work with global teams across NA, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, India, Mexico, and other locations.
• Support factory digital transformation through reporting, analytics, visualization, and governance tools.
• Influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment without formal authority.
• Deliver executive portfolio reviews with risk assessments and strategic updates.
