Job summary

Intel is transforming its global Assembly and Test manufacturing network and seeks an Engineering Director to define, develop, and execute the roadmap for AMHS, factory automation, and autonomous logistics across greenfield and brownfield facilities.

The ideal leader has semiconductor automation experience, strong program management, and the ability to drive strategic direction and execution. This role demands high-level technical leadership and cross-functional influence.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
10+ years leading deployment of factory automation and material handling in semiconductor industry.
Experience deploying material transport and storage in advanced package assembly and test high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Create and execute a comprehensive automation strategy across Intel’s global manufacturing footprint.
Define future-state factory architectures and align major capital investments.
Lead complex factory conversion programs modernizing operations and enabling next-gen capabilities.
Define the roadmap for automated material handling systems, autonomous logistics, robotics, and smart factory technologies.
Lead a matrixed team of equipment engineers through deployment and ramp of AMHS.
