The Global Manufacturing Engineer provides technical consultative, tactical, and strategic support for global operations. This position works closely with the engineering product design teams to guide early-stage new product development and ensure alignment with the latest manufacturing strategies; collaborates with supply chain and world area manufacturing to coordinate a smooth manufacturing rollout of new products; and serves as a leader driving global initiatives focused on improving safety, manufacturing sustainability, efficiency, and standardization.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Serve as the manufacturing technical representative on new product development (NPD) teams to ensure the planned introduction aligns with the manufacturing strategy and the product is designed for manufacturability
- Coordinate manufacturing planning and execution for new and existing products with world area site teams through meetings and digital collaboration tools
- Serve as manufacturing approver on technical reviews and other engineering design planning meetings to provide manufacturing input for early‑stage product design through final product launch
- Design and develop tooling, fixtures and facilities equipment as needed to support local site manufacturing teams. Analyze requirements and conduct calculations to ensure safety of design
- Drive efficiency enhancement opportunities on existing products using automation and improvements to manufacturing processes
- Create and maintain global manufacturing procedures to document process details, share best practices, and drive global standardization
- Network with world area manufacturing teams and travel to global manufacturing locations as required

For This Role, You Will Need:
- BA/BS in Business, Engineering or Operations related field or equivalent work experience.
- More than 5 years of professional experience
- Experience collaborating with remote teams
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Previous design, test or manufacturing engineering experience
- Experience with instrument design and manufacturing
- Excellent leadership and communication skills in a global environment
- Five years related Flow Controls experience preferred
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
- Able to work well with teams to tackle sophisticated problems
- Forward thinking – ability to research and implement innovation
- Ability to successfully implement process change
