Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions seeks a Director, Global M&A, Strategy and Business Development to drive the inorganic growth strategy. The role reports to the VP, Head of Global M&A and collaborates with Strategy, Product, and commercial leaders to identify and execute acquisition opportunities.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5+ years post-MBA strategy consulting or related experience and deep knowledge of markets such as financial services, insurance, and data analytics.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of post-MBA strategy consulting, private equity, investment banking or corporate finance at a top firm.
• Deep knowledge in market research, analytics, or data science within financial services, insurance, transportation, or energy.
• Experience on inorganic strategy projects such as commercial due diligence and related transactional work.
• Strong structuring, framing, and communication of strategic recommendations.
• Proficient in quantitative analyses and MS Excel; strong MS PowerPoint and Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify growth opportunities with LNRS Strategy, Product, and commercial leaders.
• Understand market developments through research, conferences, and industry news.
• Assess opportunities via quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Summarize analyses and recommendations in presentations and papers.
• Develop and manage the global acquisition pipeline and target relationships.
• Gather information via desk research and interviews; evaluate targets.
• Develop acquisition cases including revenue synergies and due diligence.
• Present acquisition cases to senior leadership; draft internal reviews.
• Drive diligence workstreams and cross-functional alignment.
