Job summary

Sound Devices, LLC in Reedsburg, WI seeks a Logistics & Warehouse Manager to lead the logistics and warehouse team, coordinate shipping, receiving, and inventory control, and partner with Manufacturing, QC, Sales, Purchasing, and Planning to support production and fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years coordinating domestic and international shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
• Experience with international customs and hazardous goods shipments.
• Hands-on ERP experience (Epicor, SAP, or equivalent) for inventory transactions.
• Warehouse management, cycle counting, storage optimization, and process improvement.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel; knowledge of carrier systems onsite.
• Strong organization, analytical thinking, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and supervise work; direct personnel performance.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments of finished goods and components.
• Ensure Li-ion battery handling and shipment compliance with IATA/DOT.
• Oversee inbound receiving, inspection coordination, and stock put-away.
• Review supplier invoices against POs and received goods.
• Track courier bookings and ensure timely inbound receipt.
• Follow customer routing guides and maintain shipment documentation.
• Develop department processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with carriers to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Manage warehouse operations including storage, organization, and inventory control.
• Execute ERP transactions: goods receipts, adjustments, stock transfers, MOs.
• Coordinate cycle counts and physical inventories for system accuracy.
• Maintain safe, organized warehouse layout and handling procedures.
• Process returns (RMA) with QC and ERP updates.
• Report logistics and warehouse metrics such as freight cost and variance.
• Other duties as required.
