Job summary

Slalom is seeking a senior logistics leader to shape and implement innovative distribution strategies, optimize supply chain networks, and partner with clients to transform fulfillment experiences using emerging technologies.

The role emphasizes data-driven opportunity assessments, multi-disciplinary execution across analytics, tech, and process, and delivering measurable improvements while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Transportation Management, Warehouse Management, Network Design, Inventory Optimization, Technology Product Management.
• Experience in consulting or with third-party logistics providers.
• Experience implementing/logistics systems (TMS, WMS, OMS) such as Oracle, SAP, Blue Yonder, Manhattan Associates, E2Open.
• Proven success leading multiple initiatives and cross-functional teams to improve supply chain performance; consulting leadership a plus.
• Experience in Life Sciences, Retail, CPG, Manufacturing, Technology, Aerospace & Defense, Automotive.
• Ability to communicate and lead across levels: C-Suite, Management, Operator.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving, seasoned judgment; entrepreneurial energy and leadership.
• Advanced understanding of supply chain operating models with processes, tech, data, metrics, roles & responsibilities.
• Track record of presenting complex ideas and quantitative insights to senior executives.
• Proficiency with MS PowerPoint and Excel.
• Agile delivery, data analytics knowledge, and change management are a plus.

• Develop and implement logistics and supply chain strategies to optimize network performance and efficiency.
• Partner with clients to transform business models and customer fulfillment using emerging technologies.
• Use interviews, workshops and data insights to diagnose opportunities delivering business value quickly.
• Execute across analytics, technology, process and operating model design to create holistic solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor and ensure high satisfaction.
• Collaborate with practice leadership to drive sales opportunities and practice development.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices and emerging trends in logistics and supply chain management.
