Job summary

System One is seeking a Logistics and Trade Compliance Manager in Houston, TX. The role oversees domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with U.S.

and international trade requirements while guiding strategy and execution as the department’s subject matter expert. Responsibilities include master scheduling for the Logistics Team, fostering efficiency and accuracy, and continuous refinement of logistics plans to address safety, cost control, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in import/export logistics and trade compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Power BI.
• Strong initiative, organizational, verbal/written communication, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and streamline all logistics operations for domestic and international shipments.
• Manage activities ensuring smooth goods flow across global supply chains while maintaining compliance with U.S. regulations and international trade requirements.
• Guide logistics strategy and execution, serving as the primary subject matter expert in the department.
• Provide master scheduling and process management for the Logistics Team, fostering a high-performance culture rooted in efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration.
• Develop and refine logistics management plans addressing strategies, transportation safety, regulatory compliance, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
