Job summary

BD is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in San Diego, CA to manage day-to-day logistics, coordinate outbound transportation, and ensure compliant cross-border shipments. You will work with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to optimize cost and service levels.

The role requires experience in supply chain, import/export operations, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office. You will report across functions to support BD’s healthcare technology supply chain and customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience with international shipping and import/export documentation.
• Ability to coordinate transportation providers and customs brokers.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day logistics with outbound partners and internal teams.
• Plan and dispatch transportation services for inbound/outbound flow of goods.
• Monitor shipments and resolve transport, customs, and delivery issues.
• Support import/export operations across cross-border movements.
• Maintain import/export documentation and country classifications.
• Collect and report KPIs on transportation, inventory and service levels.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, planning, quality, and customer service.
