Job summary

Labcorp seeks a hybrid Category Manager - Global Logistics Sourcing in Burlington or Durham, NC. You will lead strategic sourcing for logistics, transportation, and 3PL, driving cost optimization and supplier performance within a regulated healthcare environment.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to negotiate contracts, manage RFQs/RFPs, and ensure compliant supplier relationships while supporting global network needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or related field.
• 5+ years in logistics sourcing, procurement, or category management.
• 2+ years using procurement platforms such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa or Oracle.
• 3+ years leading competitive sourcing events, RFQs, or RFPs.
• 2+ years partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing for logistics, transportation, freight, warehousing and 3PL.
• Develop strategies to optimize total cost, service levels and compliance.
• Manage RFQs/RFPs, supplier negotiations, and contracting.
• Evaluate providers on service, performance, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive supplier selection balancing cost, quality, and continuity.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Quality and business leaders.
