Qualifications

• 8–10 years of project logistics operations experience.
• Strong leadership in problem-solving and decision-making.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-scope shipments.
• Experience with budgets, financial performance, and profitability.
• Strong background in vendor negotiation and client management.
• Experience contributing to developing team members at multiple levels.
• In-depth knowledge of transportation and logistics processes, including customs regulations and documentation requirements.
• Proficiency with CargoWise is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate import/export shipments using various modes of transportation.
• Create shipment files, arrange pickups, and obtain documentation.
• Enter shipments into CargoWise within 3 business days of handover and upload required documentation (AES, EDI, booking confirmations, etc.).
• Follow approved handovers, work instructions, and checklists to minimize errors.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and foreign trade regulations.
• Track shipments proactively and provide timely updates to customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Monitor costs, remain within budget, and flag opportunities for operational improvements.
• Issue draft invoices within 10–15 working days of delivery; follow up with vendors to close billing.
• Maintain KPIs (CargoWise accuracy, Edocs, billing timeliness, customer service responsiveness).
• Deliver excellent customer service: meeting deadlines, resolving issues, and ensuring clear communication.
