Job summary

BMW Manufacturing Company in Spartanburg, SC, invites motivated students for the Logistics Planning International Intern (Spring 2027). Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Enrolled student status at an accredited college or university.
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
• Must attach transcript and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
• Previous internship experience within BMW Group is preferred.
• Advanced MS Excel and Power BI skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in quarterly audits across process partners.
• Identify improvement opportunities and support optimization initiatives.
• Contribute to project management activities and defined work packages.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses of logistics costs and performance.
• Support supply chain monitoring and planning for direct delivery processes.
• Assist in developing and optimizing supply strategies aligned with corporate standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional review meetings and workshops.
• Contribute to the implementation and optimization of supply chains for direct delivery suppliers.
• Conduct logistical and financial impact analyses for changes.
