V2X, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler I to support core Logistics activities at our Indianapolis-area facility. The role involves receiving, storing, issuing, inventory, and shipping tasks as part of daily operations.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and at least 3 years in logistics-related roles. A Secret Clearance (Tier 3) is a requirement or a strong pathway to obtain it as per program needs. Full-time on-site position with benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High School or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years of work experience in the core Logistics functions of Storing, Issuing, Inventory, and Delivery.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift weight in accordance with current OSHA, Bureau of Labor Standards, and V2X recommendations and guidelines.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (Tier 3).

Aufgaben

• Loads, unloads, and moves unclassified materials, property and misc. items on and off incoming trucks or vehicles within the plant, warehouses and offsite locations.
• Opens containers, crates, bundles using hand tools.
• Sorts and prioritizes mail and materials for processing based on priorities.
• Identifies and reports obvious damage to materials and property in LAM areas.
• Performs counts and records updates in logs and systems.
• Attaches identifying tags and labeling to containers and materials.
• Ensures equipment is in working condition and maintained.
• Loads materials on trucks and secures with strapping, blocking, and padding.
• Performs safety walks and site cleanup to remove hazards.
