Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field and 5+ years of logistics/transportation experience.
• Experience with inbound/outbound logistics and supplier shipments in a regulated setting.
• ERP and transportation/shipping systems knowledge, preferably Infor XA or MAPICS.
• Domestic and international shipping, HTS and import/export coordination.
• Proven ability to analyze freight costs and carrier performance; strong documentation and regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead all outbound shipping operations, ensuring accurate and compliant delivery to customers and partners.
• Coordinate inbound logistics from suppliers with procurement to ensure timely material delivery.
• Manage carrier relationships (parcel, LTL, FTL, international) to optimize cost and service.
• Negotiate freight rates and evaluate carrier performance by key metrics.
• Oversee import/export activities and coordination with brokers for timely clearance.
• Ensure FDA, QSR, ISO compliance and proper documentation and labeling.
• Own and resolve logistics-related customer complaints with timely communication.
• Conduct root cause analysis to implement corrective actions and improve performance.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Procurement, Customer Service, Quality, and Manufacturing.
• Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, transit times, costs, and trends; drive improvements.
• Lead shipping personnel and promote accountability and continuous improvement.
