Job summary
Ulterra Drilling Technologies, LP is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead shipping, receiving, and logistics teams, coordinating domestic and international shipments and ensuring on-time delivery while controlling costs.
You will oversee import/export documentation, customs clearance, US-Canada cross-border shipments, and collaborate with carriers, brokers, and internal partners to optimize performance and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field.
- Minimum five years of logistics experience.
- Experience managing international import/export shipments.
- Working knowledge of U.S. import/export regulations and cross-border logistics.
- Proven leadership in logistics/ transportation operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop shipping, receiving, and logistics staff.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments with stakeholders.
- Oversee import/export documentation and customs clearance.
- Maintain shipping records for regulatory compliance.
- Manage U.S.-Canada cross-border shipments and knowledge of requirements.
- Collaborate with carriers, brokers, and internal teams.
- Support cost, delivery performance, and customer requirements.
- Identify process improvements in logistics.
- Monitor freight spend and performance metrics.
- Ensure safety policies and standards.
