Albertsons Companies is seeking a Global Logistics Manager to lead end-to-end import movements and inland operations from overseas origins to US destinations. You will oversee RFPs, onboarding, cost communication, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure on-time, cost-efficient delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in transportation management, strong leadership, and proficiency in MS Office. This on-site role supports a dynamic, fast-paced supply chain environment across our Phoenix

Qualifications

• College degree in International Logistics, Supply Chain or Business related field preferred.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• 5+ years of transportation management/analysis experience including people leadership.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, negotiating, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and process skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead the door-to-door import movement of ocean containers and track shipments from origin to US destinations.
• Manage annual Ocean freight RFPs and onboarding of new partners.
• Review direct import opportunities and communicate landed costs to the organization.
• Supervise transportation analysts to ensure daily tasks are completed.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure service delivery and problem resolution.
• Monitor vendor performance and support inbound operations; manage appointment scheduling with DC network.
