Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Illinois is seeking a seasoned Global Logistics Manager to lead domestic and international freight, optimize costs, and ensure on-time delivery within a hybrid Chicagoland role.

You will partner with Purchasing, Trade Compliance, and Logistics teams to manage HTS/COO classifications, supplier relationships, and ERP data, while guiding a small team of Global Logistics Coordinators to drive compliance and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in import, export and global logistics.
• Familiar with Customs Clearance and Trade compliance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics management.
• Travel <10% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international freight carriers while minimizing costs.
• Oversee logistics operations, freight, and carrier management.
• Ensure timely delivery of purchase and sales orders with proper documentation.
• Maintain HTS/COO/ECCN classifications and update ERP data.
• Support export controls and compliance with stakeholders.
• Lead a team of Global Logistics Coordinators.
• Review shipping invoices and optimize procedures.
