Job summary

Amazon LEO's Payload Processing Facility (PPF) seeks a seasoned logistics professional to lead warehousing and inventory activities in Florida and French Guiana, with up to 25% international travel. You will manage material receipt, use ERP systems, and ensure accuracy of cycle counts while guiding a team of logistics staff.

You will review supplier dashboards, analyze cost and material requirements, and help shape SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Procurement, Logistics, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
• 3+ years of supply chain management, production planning, capacity planning or manufacturing operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and provide feedback on team-related SOPs related to warehousing and inventory activities at the PPF.
• Receive LEO managed and supplier shipments.
• Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually receive and manage material.
• Execute functional requirements of global trade and transportation management software requirements.
• Provide guidance and expertise in logistics related discussions.
• Accurately track and account for all inventory located at the PPF warehouse to include cycle counts.
• Efficiently deliver material to PPF stakeholders, both physically and virtually.
• Coordinate trailer or container movements within the PPF Yard.
• Meet operational metrics related to warehouse receiving and inventory activities.
• Effectively communicate high priority matters with Transportation leadership.
• Operate equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand cart.
• Role requires up to 25% travel.

Education

Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Procurement, Logistics, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Analysis, Construction, or related fields
