Job summary

VAT Group, based in San Jose, CA, seeks a Logistics Coordinator to manage VAT US warehouse operations and inventory. The role requires a process-driven professional able to partner with sales, operations, and finance to optimize order-to-cash flows.

The candidate will coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensure customs compliance, and handle documentation. A bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in logistics are expected, with strong MS Outlook, Dynamics CRM, and Office skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum logistics experience including Incoterms, customs duties, and incident resolution.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team, handle pressure, and adapt to a changing environment.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, MS Dynamics CRM, and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track domestic and international shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure compliance with US customs tariff coding and related documentation.
• Generate shipping documents including BOL, SLI, invoices.
• Process inventory receipts and dispatches for domestic inventory (3PL) per workflows.
• Collaborate across finance, sales, and operations to ensure proper inventory transactions.
• Maintain logistics policies and procedures for deliveries and special requirements.
• Resolve shipping damages, including product replacement and escalation to Swiss team.
• Provide backup for Shipping/Receiving in San Jose warehouse.
• Assess optimal shipping methods, routing, and carriers.
