Job summary

Powerus in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage domestic and international shipments, maintain compliance, and partner with 3PLs, suppliers, and internal teams to keep materials moving efficiently.

The role requires a 10+ year track record in logistics, strong communication, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast‑growing defense tech environment; you will help scale warehousing, transportation and cost management while supporting production and customer delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of logistics, supply chain, procurement or operations experience.
• Dangerous Materials Transportation certification (or eligible to renew).
• Experience coordinating domestic and international freight.
• Knowledge of parcel carriers, LTL, FTL and international freight forwarding.
• Familiarity with customs documentation and import/export processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple business units.
• Manage relationships with parcel carriers, freight providers, customs brokers and freight forwarders.
• Monitor shipment status and update stakeholders.
• Ensure shipping documentation is accurate and complete.
• Support import/export activities with compliance.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for manufacturing, engineering and customer deliveries.
• Negotiate freight rates and monitor transportation costs.
• Support cost analysis across freight, packaging and supplier activities.
• Work with Finance, Legal and Operations on compliance and vendor issues.
• Assist with future warehouse and fulfilment initiatives as the company scales.
