Rocket Lab’s Logistics Coordinator II is based on site in Long Beach, CA, handling domestic and international shipping for Electron rocket components. The role focuses on scheduling, regulatory compliance, and KPI reporting, with opportunities to implement process improvements and train staff.

The position requires a high school diploma with 1+ years of logistics experience and familiarity with ERP/TMS systems. ITAR knowledge and strong vendor communication are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of logistics experience.
• Exposure to international shipping regulations and ITAR compliance is preferred.
• Experience with ERP and TMS systems and Windows-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Schedule transportation and resolve shipping or delivery issues.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and maintain documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize logistics operations.
• Train and support logistics staff to meet performance goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and evaluate their performance.
• Communicate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Track and analyze logistics KPIs and prepare performance reports.
• Develop and implement risk management and contingency plans for disruptions.
