Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in San Francisco, CA is hiring a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate movement of goods, perform data entry, and provide client guidance on delivery terms. The role is based in our San Francisco facility and involves working with air and ocean freight services.

The position requires US citizenship, 1–5 years in international logistics, and strong communication skills. Government contracting and ITAR experience are advantageous, with potential DCSA T3 clearance.

Qualifications

• US Citizen is mandatory.
• 1-5 years in International Logistics experience.
• Experience in Air Freight and Ocean Freight services.
• DCSA T3 clearance preferred but to be obtained after hire.
• Government contracts and ITAR experience required.
• Proven track record in customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.
• Knowledge of CargoWise is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic, export and import shipments to meet service commitments.
• Prepare and submit documents for shipping and advise on terms of delivery and insurance.
• Ensure invoices are accurate and processed promptly.
• Track and trace shipments and imaging documents.
• Update customer profiles and provide quality customer service.
• Data entry using multiple software systems.
