Job summary

AXA XL is seeking a Global Underwriting Manager for Liability to enhance underwriting excellence in casualty products. Based in the United States, the role involves leading underwriting reviews, supporting portfolio management, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful delivery of AXA's strategy.

The desired candidate will have experience in US Casualty underwriting, preferably within the construction or energy sectors, and hold a relevant bachelor’s degree. The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 132,200 to 257,100 and ample opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Proven and established US Casualty underwriting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is desirable.
• Continuing education or professional designations in underwriting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Underwriting Reviews to identify trends within portfolios.
• Co-ordinate training material and support delivery of training strategy.
• Assist in portfolio management and profitability insights.
