Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4–6+ years of experience in legal operations, financial analysis, or related function within a corporate legal department or law firm.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot charts, pivot tables, macros, data modeling).
• Understanding of accounting principles and legal billing guidelines (e.g., UTBMS/LEDES codes).
• Experience building and maintaining financial dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Excellent analytical, project management, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a team player with ability to manage shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyze key billing and matter data sets to identify trends across activities.
• Recommend and implement process improvements, including automation and AI tools, to improve efficiencies in legal spending.
• Develop reports and dashboards on legal spending using Excel and Power BI.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Assist with internal forecasts, budgeting, and risk identification to meet targets.
• Process outside counsel invoices across countries with TeamConnect and ensure compliance.
